Custom Decks in Monmouth County

From Sandy Hook Bay to inland Monmouth County, outdoor living space is valuable. We build custom decks that take advantage of views, handle coastal weather, and give you years of outdoor enjoyment.

Our Process

  1. We walk the yard, talk about how you want to use the deck, and check sight lines and sun.
  2. We design the deck and give you a written estimate with your decking material priced.
  3. Permits are filed and footings are located and inspected before anything is built.
  4. Framing, decking, railings, stairs, and lighting go in with Ronnie on site.
  5. Final inspection, cleanup, and a walkthrough of your finished deck.

What is under the boards

Most deck failures start below the surface, at the ledger, the footings, or the hardware. We flash the ledger properly, set footings to depth, and use structural connectors so the deck is solid the first time you fill it with people.

Why homeowners hire us

Decks are one of the two things this company is known for. Ronnie and Tyler build them personally, and the framing carpentry that goes into an addition goes into your deck too.

Built to last

Sun, salt, and freeze thaw cycles punish outdoor structures here. We use hot dipped or stainless fasteners, space boards for drainage, and detail stairs and railings so they stay tight for years.

Wood or composite decking

Both hold up here if they are built right. Wood costs less up front and takes yearly upkeep. Composite costs more and asks very little of you once it is down. Here is how the two compare for a deck near the bay.
